Builder.io closes $20 million in funding led by M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund

April 24, 2024

Written By Steve Sewell

Today marks an important milestone in the Builder.io story. We’re pleased to announce that as a team we’ve raised an additional $20 million dollars in funding led by M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund.

Having the confidence and backing from such an innovative leader in tech – and more recently, the artificial intelligence revolution – further validates our mission to continually push the boundaries of AI to create visual development solutions that optimize workflows and empower anyone, from any team, to be a part of the building process.

This injection of capital will help us grow our team, accelerate our go-to-market strategy, and most importantly, provide us the resources needed to address the extensive organic demand we are continually humbled by.

We consistently hear from our global customers that the adoption of our technology has drastically streamlined how they build digital experiences – enabling them to ship up to 10 times faster, and freeing up developer capacity to focus on tasks more aligned with their advanced skill set. And this is exactly what we set out to do.

We’re excited for the opportunities that will come from working with Microsoft as an invested partner. You can expect more compelling innovations as we focus on R&D, and advancing the automation of the development process to address one of the biggest bottlenecks between business and development teams within enterprises.

Visual development (specifically, visual development that works well) is still new to the spectrum of creating web and mobile experiences and we can’t wait to show you what we build next.
